Client: Te Kauwhata town council
Requirements: In anticipation of significant population growth in this picturesque north Waikato town, the local council commissioned a new library and public ammenities. A striking architectural design with deep geometric motif on the external walls reflected the town’s ambitions to attract new people to the area. The large scale, 7 x 5 meter Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete (GRC) facade panels were delivered and installed in less time than was possible with traditional concrete construction due to the fact we were able to utilise relatively lightweight moulds when compared to the alternative.
